TATA Indicom Broadband

Iam working as IT manager for India's biggest IT PR firm. Iam using TATA Indicom Broadband connection which was Dishnet DSL earlier. Life was cool until it was operated by Dishnet. The nightmare started after Tata's came in to picture. My very first shock was my bill. I received a bill of Rs 14000 against my regular bill of Rs 3000/-. They blamed us saying we have virus where as I use linux machines. I changed my plan to unlimited download without knowing iam going to dig my own grave. Internet kept going down everyday for atleast 5 hours and our routine job was to give a complaint which is of no use. Now for past 2 1/2 months , i.e 15th of June 2005 till date 20th Aug 2005 ( Today) the net is down and everyday iam giving a complaint. When we call the customer care they say it is just a call center and their job is just to take a complaint and esclate it to technical department. I myself made personal visits to TATA indicom Office but nothing worked. Now for past 2 1/2 months we are just calling customer care to listen there automated lieing maching which tells you about all that they don't actually offer. But after all these one prompt service we need to appreciate is billing. No matter the connection is down or up, you get the bill everymonth without fail.

I suggest them to change their slogan to " Jab tata indicom ho saath, aap nahi soo paayenge chani say rooz raat"

If the concerned person is reading this, my message to him . WAKE UP GUYS, BEFORE YOUR CUSTOMERS START BEATING YOUR USELESS FIELD ENGINEERS.
