tata broadband sucks

Its true that services of tata broadband sucks.. I mistakenly opted tata broadband with 6 months prepaid connection with unlimited usage on 29-09-06, but from the very starting of its dull services, every week my connection remains disconnected for 1-2 days, and if sometimes it works, it works in the morning and disconnects automatically after 4pm & again restarted next morning.. It is to be noted that i have opted for unlimited usage.. All Customer care executives & engineers are duffers, from 18 feb i have lodged 5 complaints for the same problem which they close with their own wish, without resolving the problem..
I request you all to plz provide me any email id of chairman, md or vp of vsnl if you people have, so that i can esclate the issue..

I agree with you. I am facing the same problem that you described in your posting. I am determined to give them a piece of my mind and take them to the consumer court if needed.

In case of TATA/VSNL broad band services less said the better. The service offered by them when they were qwned by the Government was infinite times better than the service offered after they have been taken over by TATA'S. I am now convinced that the Government Cos are better than the over rated TATA'S.

I hate Tata Indicom Broadband from first month when I installed in May-2005. Cable infrastructure is not proper so gets broken frequently. Almost dose not work 15 days in a month. Not reliable. Whenever I have some urgent work, Broadband is down. Call waiting for customer service is not less than 5 mins. They do not know that their server is down. They will expect customer to call them & tell that server is down.
As there was no option in my area other than Tata Indicom Broadband I used keeping my patience but not from yesterday I discontinued (TATA) & Tata Indicom Broadband & going for another ISP. Preferable BSNL.
OVERALL MY EXPERIENCE / RESULT IS VERY BAD ABOUT TATAINDICOM BROADBAND !! THINK 10 TIMES IF YOU ARE PURCHASING TATAINDICOM BROADBAND!! I WAS FOOL BECAUSE I WAS NOT HAVING OPTION !!

I have been using TATA Broad band for more than one and half years and according to my experience, the problems narrated are right but they are due to poor cable jointing carried out by the persons who attends it as third party service operator / contractor for such jobs as this is exclusively being operated as BPO . The user if pay attention to the problem, of cable and hardware which creates the interuuption in the internat services, there will not be any complain noticed. I AM QUITE COMFORTABLE WITH TATA BROADBAND SINCE MORE THAN A YEAR AS TRIED TO UNDERTAND THE PROBLEMS OF THE SERVICE ENGINEERS AND RESOLVED IT WITH AMICABLE MANNER
