A real pathatic service from Tata Indicom. You want to sucide yourself. Just contact Customer care centre. That’s it. You will succeed..
Don’t know what you guys think, I am frustatetd to such an extent now with Tata Indicom that I am planning to hang myself.
Due to some important work, I opted for the braodband connection from tata indicom. Out of 30 days, it was working only for 6 days, rest all days, my time went in calling cust. care service centre.
I paid 6 months charges, don’t know how to get them back. Don’t know from where to get a solution for my problem. Could you guys help me out to register a complaint on Tata Indicom. I want to screw them up.

I agree with you .I am also one of victim out of each tataindicom customer (I am sure each one is suffering ).This company needs serious changes .People needs to be thrown out from top to botton ...I suggest to MR RATAN TATA please Hire people from IFB washing machine ...they know how to do customer service ......and please through out current people from the company ..u have hired sume dunkeys for the top post .......
Saw a blog or complaint about tata indicom on the net. They had complained to core.nic.in and it was fixed a few days later.
99% of the time one must learn to control oneself while speaking to the service staff --that is something we are not taught in school--and that is why most people cannot get their complaints resolved. Learn to see the problem or the opportunity from the other guy's angle.

you know.. i have never in my life abused anyone or spoken to gruffly.
same with tata.. but that doesnt help anything.
internet working only 6 days a month thing.. im used to it.have been through that many times. it was like that 2 yrs back and i had got rid of tata.
now in a diff city 2 yrs later i thought they would be better and its still the same.. they trick ppl into paying huge bulk payments and say no installation charge.. but then the connection barely ever works.
so i had to get airtel cause tata will and always will never work when required (actually it never works, especially weekends, forget it).
so now im stuck using airtel but have also paid tata.
airtel is good .i dunno abt reliance or sify but the airtel under ground wires dont get cut etc.
the tata engineer for my area has been absent for 10 days confirmed by the local cable operators of my area who are hired to help with the wiring.
and yet when i keep talking to the customer care.. they said the engineer tried to call me up 3 times but never got me. (believe me f, my mobile is on 24 * 7) if it wasnt.. that would be the end of my business.
so the story abt their engineers trying to call me and not getting through is lies, for what else can it be. The local cable guys were standing outside my house fixing the wires and bungling it and saying the tata engineer is absent for days!!
no replacement sent? what do i say. thousands of rupees they have taken upfront for nothing.
please avoid tata for your own sanity.
if this company cannot invest in laying under ground cables like airtel etc, that do not get cut by competitors every night, or till they can afford to keep more man power; your tata broadband will almost never work.
and weekends.. almost all weeks.. something goes wrong on friday. you call them on friday. they say ppl will come by saturday. saturday will be half day so they wont finish fixing it. then finnaly by monday evening they will fix it. so you dont get internet for friday saturday sunday and monday day time.
4 days a week.. it becomes almost every week.. you do the maths.
i have very low expectations of this brand tata. even after 2 yrs they have become worse.
no comments.. apparently only in india you can dish out shoddy service and still last for years.Cause we are a population of billions.. and for tata i guess its opportunity to fool billions like us :|
avoid tata broadband in Kolkata.If youre a person about to take it.. please check and see if the cables are all underground for your area.if not STAY AWAY!!
