How about the tarrifs?? I have had real bad experience trying to get a tata/VSNL broadband connection installed earlier... will this be the same as well....
poor connection and unbelievably bad service...????

My first question is if i have a problem whom do i contact.... ???

mYes! its easy to get a connection but hard to get a good service from these people...Assurances is a part of their script..but these guys never come to your place to fix a issue even though its a prepaid connection..I bet you I ll change my connection to post paid and never pay your bills... mark me I am riyazuddin_m@vsnl.net...

I tried subscribing Tata Indicom Broadband. They took all the details and never returned. I am happy that this happen before experiencing poor service if i had got the connection. The best part if I was not able to reach the mobile nos provided in the above post. Yes, It bad even get connected to tata indicom mobile service. Tata....Please spare us from such horrible service.

They have one of the worst possible internet service. Connects hardly 5-10 minutes a day. They have a help desk on which you have to wait atleast 10 minutes to talk to a customer support person , who would lead you through same routine of release/renew of IP and login to the POE for one hour, while you pay for the call charges.they dont have a call back facility.You end up paying more for your phone while calling their customer support than the internet tariff. Then they would tell some "EXPERTS" from network team would call you, who would waste your time again.The guy installed your antenna disappears/would not return the call.they would not even let you cancel the connection.

U said connection any where in Bangalore, I should say thats a lie...I stay in a place called B.Narayanapura, close to Tinfactory, I was told that there are 4 Towers surrounding my area, still no signal could be established, its sad that being wimax the maximum area one tower can cover is just 2 KMs. Not only this the customer service provided by Tatawimax in the worst in the city. Take my example: I had applied for the connection on the 18th of August through Tata wimax channel partner Q serve, a person comes next day and collects documents,***they don't forget cheque***, the installation people come on 20th, everything smooth till now, they try to establish the connection for more than 2 hours,nogo,atlast they gave up and gave a installation cancellation form and they left and asked me to contact Tata wimax customer care for te refund, the best part of the story starts now, the customer care agents aren't aware whats happening,one says it will be refunded in 7 days,another says in 15 days and the last news is it will be refunded in 60 days, I have made almost 7 calls to the CC,still no clue when it will be refunded.Last time I called and asked to speak to a floor supervisor so that I can make them understand the importance of the issue,the agent palced me on hold for about 20 mins,imagine its even not a toll free numbers, at last I had to release the call.This incident not only created a wrong impression about wimax but all tata products and I am rethinking about my plan to purchase Tata Nano.***One suggestion to people planning to take wimax,check if the connection can be established and then make the payment or else u would be in my shoes.***sorry for the long Blog, wanted to express my disappoinment about such a Global company like tata.

I agree that Tata indicom Wimax customer care is hopeless. I have been through all this, I had taken connection in Jan2008 and they took 3 days to setup connection. On these 3 days, an engineer would visit my house and sit with the dish for whole day and finally says that tomorrow we will do it.. I was totally disappointed. Later when they were successful in getting the connection, things went smooth for a month and later problems started. Their customer service is hope less and finally I got my connection cancelled in March 2008. I thought I will not get any refund and I did not pursue much. Later i was surprised to get a refund cheque from them last week. A pleasant surprise after a long time.....

Hi Sir/Madam,

I am totally frustrated with your Service. After launching the complains, no body is giving proper response and resolve my problem. I am still facing same problem since last 1 month, when I had been taken your connection.

Again, your Internet is not working since yesterday's morning [17.12.2008], this is 4th time from date of connection within 1 ½ month, I had raised the issue regarding this and the person has committed me that my engineer suppose to be come to your home and resolve your problem, but till time no body has to come. And today[18.12.2008], I got a call from your side and again your person has committed that he would sending one person to my home for rectify my problem, but now 7 hrs has gone and no body has been come to my home and still my internet is not working since last 3 days.

I observed whenever I launched the complain against removing my Login Page then from very next days my internet is stop working. And again I have to launch complain regarding Internet connection and again this whole troubleshooting process is staring and my internet remains not working continuous 3-4 days, every time.

My Current issues are as follows:-
1. My Internet is not working since last 3 days.
2. Remove my Login Page. I have to login multiple times to use your internet.
3. Configure my system for Public Static IP, which I already found on 19.11.2008, approx 1 month back and still my system has been not configured. I have launched 5-6 times this issue but didn’t get any solution for this.

If I launch complain for any issue and you didn’t give any response then we have to call again to your customer care and again your call center guy follows us the same troubleshooting process and waste our time and money which troubleshooting process was already performed by us 4-5 time on phone. Who'll be payable for my loss of time and money and mental harassments?

Your are creating same harassment which I had already gone through with Sify Broadband Connection. So, we have only 2 option either I have to go to Consumer court or Discontinue your connection for lifetime.

Hi Guys ,

I am staying in B Naraynpura .The tata Indicomm now has extermely superb wi-fi service here .their net is lightning fast and availaible all the time.(means no network/downtime hiccups).
In this part of bangalore only tata indicomm is good.rest is not availaible here like airtel/reliance.

It appears, the wi max line has life of six days. On three saturdays my connection got lost. Rang up 1800020907070.
I understamd that the company is in continupus research. Hats off.
There is nothing wrong in getting connection lost. The response I got is also good.

Unfortunately one Mr Mohammad (ID 32235)for nearly one hour asked me to perform various things on my PC, much of which I guess was un-necessary. He got a toy in his front and playing with customers killing his aswell as customers' valuable time. I appreciate that TATAINDICOM has sufficient manpower for attending customers problem, but some of them are toying. I am the unfortunate one.
