i would like to say TATA indicom SUCKS

I have been using Tata indicom broadband for the last 4 months, and I am sure it has to be one of the worst providers of internet. It is not the worst, I am afraid to think of the implications, because it means here in india, we are doomed to experience sucky internet all the days of our lives. I’m considering switching to Airtel and would appreciate it if some one who has used both can tell me objectively if airtel is much better than tata indicom.
I am especially interested to know Airtel’s response incase there is a no-browsing problem. In case of Tata, I had to call every single day for 2 weeks, to get them to finally come and fix the problem. at a minimum of 25 rupees a call, i paid more per day for calls to customer care than i did for the broadband, which is billed at 16 rupees per day.
For all those people out there i would like to say TATA indicom SUCKS

I totally agree with you as far as the tata indicom connection is concerned.I think I have spent more on my telephone bill calling tata customer care than nayone else.Their waitng time to attend the call is never less than 8 mins. Then they put u on hold for another 10 mins to finally give the only thing that they do...'yess a reference number'. I get more than 50 of them for 1 single problem.

Airtel is a better ISP.Their technicians are more customer friendly and prompt. I dont know what will happen once their customer base increases but as of now its better.
