frustrated customers

Dear all,
My connection was installed on 28th March and story is the same as described by all frustrated customers above. The connection has been available barely for two working days in the period of more than two months and with a 6 month prepaid connection worth Rs 2800 around, there seems to be no possibility of refund. There has been innumerable no of complaints and have already spent around half of the connection value in mobile bills. Let us unite and form an email chain since TRAI doesnot take individual complaints but entertains the complaint against an ISP whose service conditons are pathetic in general. I believe the respondents to this blog can form a sizeable community to have the notice of TRAI.
Mr RATAN TATA your name is a trusted Hallmark in indian industry,in case you come across this blog or your people draw your attention to this pathetic service levels please take immediate action before it is too late……

Dude, even i had a similar problem. But I am new customer as compared to you. I took the connection on May 15th & was having connection for 3 days & after that no connection at all.
I also raised multiple mails & calls but same as yours. No resolution.

I am planning to file a Consumer case based on ‘Consumer protection act of 1986’. If anyone of you want to join with me it would be fine.

I am also fine with your option of raising this issue as a group to TRAI. Please update on this soon.

It is with deep regret that I have to lodge a complaint against a reputed organization
like Tata communications Limited. I took an internet broadband connection on 15/02/2008, prepaid for 6 months from that date. During the last two odd months
this net has hardly worked for one month. I have taken this connection to do online trading in stock market and due to the non functioning of your internet I have incurred heavy loss.


The service rendered by your Customer Care Centre is highly unsatisfactory,
The technicians, very rarely attending to my complaints are very incompetent in their work and this is evident from the number of visits they have made from 15/02/2008.
Further the highest authority I have been able to contact is Floor Supervisor. Your own rule that you will attent to the complaints within 24 hours from the time of lodging the complaint has always been violated.


When I asked for a responsible authority whom I can approach, your address, and your telephone number, I am told that these details are not available. This is unbecoming of a reputed concern like yours.


Having paid a sum of Rs -3034.00/- for a prepaid six months with a view to do online trading in the stock market,I feel terribly helpless since my complaints lodged almost every day are not effectively attended . I may mention that I have incurred heavy loss due to the inefficient functioning of your internet and if this continues I may have to resort to other remedial measures

I request you to take my complaint seriously and ensure that your internet works without interruption .

I am using TATA Broadband connection since 22nd May, 2008. I have not used the internet connection during the day time. But i have been charged nearly 284 Rs. for that. I firmly belive it was used by the Tata people itself. When I contacted the customer service, they closed the call by saying the problem was resolved. I was never contacted by Technical people. I called them up nearly 15 to 20 times. Still the same problem.

Can anyone give the landline number where we can make complaint. There is no use of calling the Customer service 60607070. They are taking the call just for formality.

This is senthil from chennai. i have taken tataindicom broadband prepaid worth Rs.6067 and am facing lot of problems with the connection. I called the customer care but it ll be like speaking to the deaf.can anyone tell me the higher official number.so that i can lodge compliant againt them.

I took TATA docomo post paid connection on portability on 24.10.11 and inspite of activating net pack and receiving settings, they have not activated at their end with the result, after 7 days, i received sms informing my usage exceeded my usage limits i.e.650/-which was a shock to me. Net not connected in roaming but billing done exhorbitantly. No redressal of grievance on call centre or mail. Faulty bill sent for 1000/-Rs. Now do not shifting phone to prepaid or allowing me to surrender the connection. I feel so much cheated.Y P Gupta 9896394108
