Tata Indicom Plug to Surf modem

Please do not buy Tata Indicom Plug to Surf modem. It has a bug in it. The data usage will be shown as very low in the modem, but your bill will show a higher usage. Also frequent disconnections will happen if you go for a data based plan. Tata Indicom is spoiling all the goodwill generated by Tata. Their customer service sucks and all the guys even at the nodal office are the worst I had ever faced. They never want to solve any of your problems, but just want to get off the phone immediately away from our grievences.

i want to know about std free from tata to tata phone unlimited like reliances local unlimited .so for getting postpaid connection we have to be the local resident of that place and we have to working person but i am a student what to do

I purchase a tata indicom plug 2 surf in starting of  november 2007 and started using it from 6 th november 2007 . 2 days back i received my bill for the period from 6-11-2007 to 14-11-2007 and amount comes to 1257 minutes whereas the log shows only around 80 minutes of usage . THE BILLING IS 15 TIMES MORE THAT OF ACTUAL USAGE .I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT THE FRAUD BILLING OF TATA INDICOM ONLY NOW. When i contacted the customer care , they give some stupid replies like that there billing is accurate etc etc. Till now no action has been taken from there end , I THINK STRICT ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST TATA INDICOM WHO IS OPENLY CHEATING THE PUBLIC BY THEIR FRAUDULENT BILLING . APART FROM THIS , THE SERVICE IS HOPELESS , MOST OF THE TIME YOU GET ERROR 721 AND SPEED IS WORST
 
SO MY ADVICE TO ALL OF YOU . NEVER BUY TATA INDICOM

calling cost

i want to know weather we can activate least calling cost to any one of the tata mobile number…….. and how??????? like we have airtel ffa offer in that we can cal to one airtel number at 25paise…..
