My experiences with Tata Indicom Broadband are really bad

My experiences with Tata Indicom Broadband are really â??BADâ??.

I applied for a connection on 04th Jan 2006, through a business executive of the company.

At the payment of money, he promised me that the connection will be enabled within 14 days. Still itâ??s a long duration
for me, I agreed upon that contract.

At the same time I gave application to my previous broadband vendor to disconnect the connection within a period of 14
days which been offered by TATA.



The days went off. I was continuously contacting the executives and the technical guys of TATA Indicom. But after taking
money from me, what they were telling is, there is no feasibility for giving me the connection, since the distance is more
from their exchange.

But am sure it comes under the specifications given by them only and why they hesitates to give connection is only because
am the first person in that street who is applying for such a connection. So they had to draw new connection.

But what I felt is that itâ??s a sort of gambling from the connection providers that they were telling such a reason after
taking money from me. They were not even bothered to give me my money back at all.



Am really ashamed to tell such a word about a TATA Business group.

I am also getting charged by Tata for useage that is not happening

I am also getting charged by Tata for useage that is not happening. Once when I was out of the country, my laptop was not
here and the modem switched off - yet they showed useage for a number of days. Again over a couple of days that I noticed
when my laptop again was not here. They sent a technical support person who claimed they had fixed the problem but the
useage still showed up on my account. Now it has happened again a month later. It throws into question their whole useage
procedure not to mention their follow up and communication between departments (billing & technical support) BEWARE... and
check your useage carefully. I am not from India but I can only imagine that slowly through forums such as these and
making demands from customer support services that SLOWLY people like Tata will learn to handle customers concerns more
effectively - sadly they have a long way to go.

Tata's connection for my mobile

I want 2 take Tata's connection for my mobile & thus would like 2 know what r the roaming charges in prepaid connection for
a yr. & also the call charges? Also tell me what r the tariffs/scheme for a yr.? Can I use Tata Indicom's connection with a
Nikoa set or not?

HiI recently bought this Tata indicom(VSNL) Broadband

HiI recently bought this Tata indicom(VSNL) Broadband. And I would like to advice everybody to never do this mistake of selecting this ISP. Firstly they took more than 20 days to install broadband. And after 1 month still I am unable to connect. And the tech. supp. helpline as they call it. have just one answer when I call them.. Sir pls. wait for 24 hrs….. I wonder what does 24 hrs means to tata indicom VSNL Broadband.

I recently bought this Tata indicom(VSNL) Broadband. And I would like to advice everybody to never do this mistake of

I have some dissatisfaction

Sir,
I have both tata Broadband (rm sridharan) and telephone line 55160093. Of late in both the above areas I have some dissatisfaction :-
1. In broadband you are not send the bill and
the rates are shooting up exhorbitantly
my last month bill is Rs.1465/-
2. In the telephone also I have requested for the instrument change which was not acceeded I have requested for modalities for surrendering.
At least on hearing this can you please tell me how to surrender both the above facilities.

I regret I opted for TATA INDICOM BROAD BAND

Hello every one ,my name is satya I am hyderabad India. Unfortunately I fell for one of the ads of TATAINDICOM BROAD BAND.
I regret I opted for TATA INDICOM BROAD BAND,I opted and paid for the service on 3 rd dec 2005 but was installed 10 days
later as against their initial commitment of coneection within 3 working days,

See my plight?

After getting connected initially

May be I cud browse for about 6 hrs till date,

The service so bad that u are never connected,

I would like to authenticate my description with my complaint noâ??s, they are

I wonder how can broadband operator today in India needs atleast 48 hrs to solve the problem, this was time required as I
was told on the help line,

complaints in a month,

I feel I am being harassed , please donâ??t fall in to the trap of TATA INDICOM BROAD BAND ,I have a very bitter
