tataindicom broadband service is known to be very crappy

Not just wifi, tataindicom broadband service is known to be very crappy and non sense.They do better jobs with walkys and should just stick with it when they cant run broadband properly.

Last month, I bought the TATA INDICOM Wifi account through internet

Hi All,

Last month, I bought the TATA INDICOM Wifi account through internet.. The account login and password are sent to me through mail... I tried accessing in one of the hot spot where it always replied back saying the user name or password is wrong...

So I lodged a complaint to TATA INDICOM People saying that, this is the issue.. THe funniest thing is, they have not updated their phone no. in the internet.. SO I need to dial the changed no. information.. What a experiece there tooo... First it welcomes in English for 30secs. .. Then in Hindi for 30 secs... Then in Kannada for 30 Secs.. Once you choose your language.. Again welcoming message for 30 secs.. finally we need to get the changed no. information.. What a great service for changed no. information from TATA.. Really Stupid...

Ok, finally I got the no. to call these guys and lodged the complaint.. The person on the other side said.. Can I put you on hold for lodging a complaint.. I said yes.. Waited.. Waited... Waited... Such a long time and finally that person replied saying, Sir I filed the complaint.. you can take this complaint no. and gave some number.. Also said that, the people from his side will call me within 4 hours..

First I though what a fast service they have... OK waited for 4 hours... Nothing happened.. Waited for 1 day.. 2 days.. 3 days... again. I called them.. this time the automatic message says press 3 for wifi.. I pressed 3 and waited.. It went to some person where she is not related to wifi at all.. She said.. I will transfer to corresponding person.. OK. waited.. Transferred.. Told about complaint.. That guy tried for minutes and came out saying.. Sir your number is not in our database.. Can I make a complaint again.. I told.. what is this.. You people can not maintain the user complaints properly.. He said.. sir all our systems are very slow and it is always posible that some data will get erased.. What a great statement.... I asked him to call me back, since lunch time is reached and I need to push off for lunch.. He again gave a statement that, Sorry sir, we do not have facility to call back.. ".. I really pissed off by hearing this.. What I should do.. Do i need to laugh by hearing his statement or worry about already whatever money i paid for this non-working WIFI.. Ok, waited for another 15 minutes and lodged once again the complaint...

Same ditto information from him saying, tata indicom people will call back in 4 hours.. OK, I believed once again.. and waited for 4 hours.. again 1 day.. 2 days.. 3 days.. sent a mail etc.. No reply.. Finally mail reply came .. In that reply.. one more complaint no. was present.. So that was my third complaint no. for the same complaint..

Ok, I called once again this customer service asked for these no.'s... As usuall both the numbers are not accessible by that poor guy who is sitting in the other end... I asked him what to do now.. He replied saying.. Sir Can I file the complaint once again.. I kept the phone and made my self that, whatever I lost is like putting that money to one beggar that is TATA INDICOM WIFI BEGGAR...

So far, my complaint is not resolved.. No phone calls from their side.. Nothing.. I really do not know what is happening with TATA WIFI.. THEY CHEATED ME.. and THEY ARE CHEATERS..

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS TATA INDICOM WIFI.. OR ELSE YOUR MONEY WILL GO IN VAIN...

PLEASE KEEP OFF>. DO NOT BUY ANY WIFI CARDS FROM THIS GUY....

I have no internet connection from April 1

I have no internet connection from April 1st going off and on and for days making it really frustrating and afraid of login. finally on April 9th complete shut down and I raised complaint on April 11th and i persued with them till July 17th to get my connection back or pay back the installation and deposit money. I sent several emails to TRAI(not sure,if they are really custodians and responsible). Now the joke part in once i got my connection, billing dept is after me to pay me bills:-
I explained that before server problems, I paid in advance 2000 Rs, and i had no connection for 3.5 months. Since they do not have toll free number, and cannot be reached from BSNL(No pulse) my mobile bills got a soaring. The irritation was to keep us on hold for long time and disconnect me, saying ” every one is busy call back later”
who is going to pay my bills?
A week back some one called and asked for bill and i explained about black out for 3.5 months( Loss of professional, career and personal) also reminded them of further 2 week black out in September. I requested for detailed bill with all the time of black out.
She promised to get back in 2 days, I see my internet being disconnected. :-
I going to consumer forum, Please support me and let us all file together to get the officials of Tata to knees, who are hiding behind with no response.

I BEG YOU ALL, PL DON’T TAKE ANY SERVICES FROM TATA INDICOM STUPIDS..

This is a good step but with their pathetic services, they should not trouble the genuine customers by saying that 100% verification we are doing.
How many times, they will verify even for prepaid connection is it required to check in bangalore and pune separately, the same customer?
They don’t have any online systems to check a consumer details?
The customer is paying huge amounts for initial activation..is it not their responsibility to come and collect the documents if any thing they feel it is missing?
Why the customer has to go around the Tata Indicom show rooms like to Govt offices in India even after paying the money?
Here is my experience with these stupids who are saying that we are perfect in address verification and services.
I had taken a Tata Indicom prepaid CDMA connection in Bangalore, India 4 months back (in June’2006).
I have submitted all the required documents and felt that the services are so pathetic and there is no customer support for that company.
Now, in Oct’2006 I have relocated to Pune, India and I visited a Tata Indicom showroom called Smartek in Chatushrungi temple road near Pune University circle where two useless young girls are managing the showroom. I requested them to transfer my connection from Bangalore to Pune. But, they told it is not possible and they asked me to take a new SIM card and get a new number.
Then, I accepted for that and took a new SIM and number by paying once again the activity charges, etc. I submitted all the documents whatever they asked, at that time itself. They checked the documents and accepted. Then I felt very happy about Tata Indicom ( I felt probably they might have learned from their mistakes).
But, the happiness is not there even for 1 week also. I am getting the SMS messages saying that your form is not complete and submit the documents.
Then immediately I approached the same Smartec showroom (even though it is far for me). They told, 123 people from Tata indicom will send sms like that only to all the people and don’t worry because your services are not interrupted. They have not even enquired about my case.
Then after 2 days, my outgoing service is cut and not working. Then immediately I approached the same show room. Then they told me that, may be some of the documents are missing (they don’t even have interest to find out which doc is missing because they already got the full money). Then, even though my wife is pregnant, along with our 2 yrs old kid, I sent my wife to that showroom to submit the docs ( as I have busy schedule in office).
She went there and submitted the docs once gaian. That time also they does not know what is missing in the docs. My wife came back and then she got a call from same showroom people saying that “the photoID which we have submitted and the photo which we had given are not matching” (eventhough both are mine only and I had given letter from my company also which is a gaint in IT industry).
Then we were shocked as the photoID (Pan card copy) and the photo that we had given are same.
OK, I called several times to that showroom from public booth and once in 100 trails, they used to lift the phone as if they are busy talking to customers.
Then the next day, my incoming also cut and phone is of no use. But I paid 700 Rs for activation and 1 month validity. I need to do lot of communication with mypeople since these days and which is missing becoze of these Tata Indicom Stupids.
Now it is almost 1 week, daily I am calling those stupid people and they will reply me that today it will be done sir, no problem, good day sir..like that.
I am very much upset on the pathetic services they provide to customers. What I have to do?
Pl help me and give me some good suggestions as I am totally in an emotional and aggressive situation about Tata Indicom.

Even I had very bad experience with TATA INDICOM useless service providers, they can’t improve from the mistakes they made.
Totally useless to discuss about Tata Indicom..worstest possible service they can give.

I Rahul Magan want to tell the story and the happenings that are going on in tata a chor company . i was not financially fruad but also physically attacked by the customer care department because from the last 6 months i am looking for the justice and when i went to okhla office i was physically attacked by the customer care department. it seems wrong but that is a fact.

Hello i am an existing user of tata indicom services

Hello i am an existing user of tata indicom services and was very happy with the services. Due to the nature of my work i had to go for a 256 kbp unlimited package and there began my woes since i started with this package i have not a full days of download, there browing facility keeps going downa nd i have to switch over to my back up mtnl which is definitey not up to the mark unfortunately i dont have airtel in my area otherwise i wouldnt have even thought about tataindicaom.
Anyway i am actually very happy with there service but the unfortuante part is that i rarely seem to be getting it.i hope this letter reaches some hihger up bosses and they decide to improve the service i am liste din there recorrds as deshsecurities@vsnl.net

THIS COMPANY SHUD BE THROWN AWAY IN THE DUSTBIN…

You people were telling ur tataindicom broadband speed experience and i m sharing u my awful experience with tataindicom. In july, 2006 i had applied for the broadband connection thru internet cos according to them they are fully automated and they do as per so called hi-tech industry norms and as per them customers no need to keep on wasting their money in long Q in order to speak with the customer care so they had started solving all the query thru internet. So, I had also filed up a form in order to avial the broadband connectivity from the website http://myaccount.tataindicombroadband.in/MyAccount/ApplyNow.do. The system generated a enquiry no. for me which was 879165 and i had been asked to wait for next 72 hours meanwhile their sales and technical team will do the concern enquiry regarding the connection availabity and parameters in my area. but that 72 hours never came. they keep me on waiting.. i had written alot of mails but no reply even i had spoked with theh customer care but again they promise me to wait for 72 hours and then nothing had happened. Then i had re-registered myself for the broadband connection with my enquiry no. 868874 and imagine what the same story. now from july it is august but their 72 hours never came when i had complained them suddenly one day i got a shocking e-mail from the customerservise stating that i had requested to the sales teams to cancel my broadband connection. I was about to faint when i read this pathetic weired and stupid type of email from them and then i again wrote a email to them and spoke with the customer care keeping my vocal cord voice very raised and hard. Then he ha asked me to again registered for the broadband connection (for the third time and in the month of Septemer ). On 24th of september i had again register and the enquiry no. was 908332 and since till date again no news….
I HAD NEVER SEEN SUCH A PATHETIC WEIRED, CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS WORLD. THIS COMPANY SHUD BE THROWN AWAY IN THE DUSTBIN…

When the service itself has not been provided where is the question of payment? Instead thy prefer to blackmail us by cutting off even the telephoning technical assistance and complaint sevice and insist on payment,

Tata Indicom broadband is the worst service

Tata Indicom broadband is the worst service I have encountered. It is very sad that a Tata compnay has such low level of service

It sucks Tataindicom

It sucks Tataindicom with third party franchise like cable operator
Stay away from Tatabroadband rather go for Airtel. Tataindicom does not work on its own it has got everything with third party like cable operator, also cable also comes from a distance. Wherein airtel dont have any franchise like cable operator they do have everything of there own and hence better service and no disconnect between two parties
